Hey, I didn't see any topic about this, so I figured I'd create my own.
Is the XMB interface limited to Sony products? Or do some other companies use it? Also, do ALL Sony BD players use it, or just some? If other comapnies do not use the XMB, do any have any that are comparably awesome, and, if so, are there videos on YouTube or whatever of people using them? Thanks! |

Hey Kevin. Yes the XMB is only a Sony product and I believe all Sony BD players use it. Hope that helps. |

Okay, thanks guys, that really helps.
Does it usually say on the box if XMB is included? I may be buying a standalone unit soon, and if so, the only feature I care about at all is XMB (as far as I am concerned, Internet connectivity and Netflix and all the garbage is, if anything, a negative, and, at best, completely neutral as I'd never use it). |
