Why do u care so much what we enjoy? Telling us who enjoy Britney blind support faith n dangerous is so ignorant and disrespectful. Who are u? Just quit it. Ur not getting anything ur making a fool out of urself. Clearly nobody here is agree with u, cos this is where people want to talk about the blu ray release. If u dun like her dun buy this. Theres no need to persuade others. We know this already
I believe you're thinking of the term subjective, not objective. Why would I try and turn anyone against her? What's in it for me to do so? I'm just trying to understand why people flock to her shows when there's very little performing involved. Except, you really can't say that about Gaga though. You can't deny that she sings live and at least gives her fans their money's worth, and you'd also look stupid saying that because you're a Britney Spears fan and you'd get ridiculed to no end if they found that out after saying that about Gaga. But that would be quite interesting to see, just because I'm bored and I could use a good laugh.

I don't care what you enjoy. I'm just looking for answers as to why people think it's worth it to see her live right now. Back in 2001 I would've sold a kidney to see her live. And I actually did see her live that year. So believe me, I understand the enthusiasm, I just don't get it for right now. How can someone who does so little on stage, get so many people flocking to her shows. There must be something going on that I don't see or comprehend. That's what I'm trying to understand. It just seems like people are holding onto nostalgia and since they spent 13 years with her they can't just say no out of loyalty. So...don't know. And It doesn't look like I'm going to get any answers here but I tried. After I own Dumb1990 for the last time I'm moving onto another forum here on Blu-ray.com

To address your point: I agree that Britney's enthusiasm and effort has declined in a major way in recent years. All one has to do is watch that MTV documentary that was filmed during her "dark period" to see that she has lost a lot of the love that she had for the game... Incredibly sad, but I agree that she just doesn't try as hard anymore.

That being said, I am definitely picking up this release. I am not what you would call a "die-hard" Britney fan, (which is perhaps why I am able to address your criticisms without somehow taking it personally and getting emotional) but I am still going to spend my hard-earned money on this because the songs, both old and new, are still great pop music, she still has a beautiful and interesting stage presence, and I just really would love to have a BD in my collection of the biggest and best pop princess of the 90's/00's. It's that simple.

I love the songs, I enjoy the woman, and the set is sure to be beautiful in HD.
Thank you for your kindness and candor. I may not agree with you but I do respect your choice. You mean 'For The Record'? I do own that on DVD. The last Britney-related item I bought. She lost me when I saw that nothing has changed performance-wise. I cut her a break during the Circus tour because all of what had happened the years prior. I didn't buy tickets to her tour because I saw the live performances and didn't think it was worth it, saw the youtube videos from the shows. I thought at least she'd bring it this time around. Nope. So I skipped on everything this time, didn't buy the album, nada. Which is a shame.

Thanks for not popping a blood vessel. There does seem to be some rational Brit fans left lol. Well, good luck to you, this is my last post here, I don't want to upset the crybabies anymore than I already have. If I see you on another forum, don't be a stranger.

I went to see this show a few weeks ag, but only because I got half price tickets. It was an amazing production but I'm sorry to say she was pretty bad. I do think it is unfair to say she doesn't try or put a lot into it. She did dance non stop for 90 minutes, or try to at least.

It is quite obvious to anyone with clear eyesight that the girl is on major anti depressants to help her get through her problems. I personally think she should be applauded for at least trying to get her life back in order, though I suspect she has very little choice in the matter. She seems like a little lost girl being dragged around the world to feed the machine who profits from her success with her children being dangled in front of her like carrots. It is pretty well known if she didn't agree to follow Daddies orders that they'd be taken off her and her heart obviously isn't in performing anymore, but she clearly has no choice in the matter.

She should've been allowed to take a few years off, get her life together, get well and then if she chose to, come back when she was ready. But hey we all know the moneymen wouldn't ever allow that to happen.

once u had 2 kids and a knee injury . I like u 2 get back to that kind of dancing again 2. her dancers says she still got it he stupid choreographer choose those easy moves. and impossible people still wanna see her! For the record her label pushed her to do its obvious she wasn't ready for that and she still was going threw a rough patch the label doesn't give a hit about her all it is $ . If I manged her I would worry her future not begin forced to do hit she doesn't want to but she seemed more happy to do this tour then circus.

I think Jive just wanted her to finish off her contract so they could close their doors. Just my observation.

I just pre-ordered from Amazon. If the 3D is eventually released, I'll get that also. I was going to wait until Tuesday and go to Best Buy, but I figured - why bother?

Mine shipped Sunday, November 20th but has an estimated delivery date of November 23rd. What happened to "get it on it's release date"? I'm a Prime member, btw.

Happens to me all the time... makes me angry. I usually have to complain to customer service about it and they upgrade it to one day shipping but it's still late.

Mine still hasn't shipped (has said "shipping soon" for nearly 48 hours now) but says it'll be here release date (meaning by 7:30 pm tonight)... I will be amazed if that actually happens

Hardly she signed a new 5 album deal as part of her custodial duties in the court case. Circus was the first so she still has 2 albums and a GH to go to fulfill that contract.

I've been hearing a lot of horror stories about Amazon and shipping lately. I guess I'm extremely lucky because I haven't had a problem yet *knocks on wood* and I've been using Amazon for years. I'm not a prime member either and usually if I select 1 day shipping it's here on the release date. It's worth the extra few dollars. Are you guys sure you're doing it correctly? I usually comb over every inch of my order before I place it and I check the invoice in my e-mail to make sure it's correct. A few times I had to go back and edit it correctly. I don't understand why some of you ordered it off amazon, I mean, the album didn't exactly fly off the shelves. Not saying it wasn't successful but I'm sure you could've just saved yourself the agony and just went to Best Buy or Target today and bought it in person. I understand that people lead busy lives and might not have the chance to go out and buy it, and some might not live near a big box retailer either but it's not like this won't be in stock. If this were the new Batman movie I'd pre-order for sure, because it's insanely popular. Also the problem with Amazon might be the fact that the holidays are around the corner. I've never ordered anything from them at this time of the year. And I'm sure a lot of people are going to be out in droves on Black Friday so that's all the more incentive to buy it in stores now and not have to worry about them being sold out because a lot of people will probably be hitting the Black Friday sales and the day after.

Yup I'm doing it right... Apparently Amazon ran out of copies and had to wait for the monday morning warehouse arrival to fulfill the rest of the orders... What I want to know is how do they choose who gets their copy first. I ordered mine the first day it was up for preorder

"Baby One More Time" isn't dubbed on the BD like it was on the EPIX special. Nice to hear the vocals we were intended to hear.

Makes you second guess what EPIX had mentioned about the dubbed vocals being an "artist decision."

? Yeah, I think we know how to order from Amazon. And so much for saving ourselves the agony. Target didn't have any of the Blu-ray at all. Best Buy had plenty on the shelf though.

And yeah, I pre-ordered mine first day too.. Oh well. I'll return the one I get on Wednesday.
