Independence day ?

I just got back from fnac (in madrid) and I saw there 5 copies of independence day on blu. the price was the typical 29 euros or something so I didnt buy it.
A couple of weeks ago I also saw master and commander.

What's the deal with this FOX titles? Have they only been pushed back in US?

from as far as i can tell i think so march is like will smith month in u.s. and master and commander has something to do with father's day

I have no idea why they pushed back the North American release of ID-4. I watched my copy (of the Euro version) on Saturday and it was epic.

Bigfoot; what is ID-4 is that the Extended Version of Independence Day, I would like to see that on Blu-ray.

I am also wondering if they will bring Transformers to Blu-ray.

all of the Indiana Jones flicks, as well as the new one coming out!

ID-4 is just a short name for Independence Day. And the euro version on Blu-ray is the theatrical cut. Which is fine with me 'cause I own the Extended edition on DVD and I don't really care about any of the added scenes. IMO the movie actually works better without them.

Transformers is a Paramount title so we will see it in time...

Indy flicks probably wont be released for a while. Nice thought though. We all wish they would be here!

I have the Japanese version of ID4 and I suspect the below as the reason to have caused the delay in U.S.

A question is prompted on whether to use the saved data or not upon loading the disc. This question is thrown up on every load and is highly irritating. Some of the players don't recognize this content and doesn't proceed further. I think this is yet another stupid implementation of BD-J.
