Fair enough. We each have our own views on new technologies. I'm not going to force you to change yours, as I do respect opinions. I am no longer wishing to persue this discussion further. Instead, I'll just let time pass and judge this new technology.

Although, you do have a point regarding the hole in my statement you pointed out. That is all I have to say.

Thanks but no thanks - UV ain't for me.

I think a lot of people are worried it will lead to BD's that need internet activation or need a connection to their BD player at all times (not a big deal if you have a PS3 but a massive pain in the ass if you don't have a wireless player (mine is like 20-30 yards away from my router (and I'd never buy an overpriced wireless dongle out of principle)). As well as the inability to sell their BD's in the future if they've been linked to a certain person or player.

its too young a technology at the moment so its pretty bloody useless as it stands, but there is potential in the 'play everwhere' aspect. I just fail to see how this couldnt be added onto our DC disc's so we have both the downloadable, itunes version, AND can make use of this UV idea
