Hello.
I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about Bluray releases of these 2 exceptional period films..

These are both on my "most wanted" list as well. (It's a long list actually!) They are both owned by Sony but, as far as I know, they haven't given any indication that they are working on them.

Remains Of The Day could possibly be released in the UK before the US, as it is arguably likely to appeal more to British audiences.

Maybe the Remains of the Day could get the Criterion treatment? After all, they have done many other Merchant/Ivory films..
And after Howards End this would be next in line..
I hope so..

Definitely want The Age of Innocence on Blu! I love this movie. Not the typical Scorsese film. Outstanding cast, beautiful cinematography and haunting score. My barebone DVD copy needs a Blu upgrade, hopefully with all the works.
