I LOVE this film. Yes, it DOES have a few sad parts, but overall, very enjoyable.

Yeah, I probably haven't seen this one in like 20 years. I remember liking it quite a bit when I was a young'n, but I wonder how it would hold up today?

what do you mean? the happy ending makes it all worthwhile and happy..

Yeah, there are a couple of scenes in this underrated movie that will WRECK you! Buying it happily on day one! One of my favorite James Horner scores!

Love the GIGANTIC Helen Hunt head they threw on there. despite her being a complete unknown when the movie was first released.

Just watched this. Man it's been years. I really like this fiilm. Yeah and you're right. The score in this is just beautiful and plays a huge part in the film. It's one of those soundtacks that you remember.

I love this movie, but if you own the dvd you might consider holding on to it. Video quality is not terrible, but completely underwhelming. I'm not super picky at all when it comes to video quality, but this is one of those drab transfers that doesn't "feel" like HD. But oh well...as as i said it looks ok and it's a wonderful little movie.

I thought the new comedy called Project X was a remake of some 1987 film when I saw the review up, but this totally looks like my cup of tea.
