And hopefully, they will retain the 2-disc DVD extras, like the David Fincher commentary. I never got around to getting it before quickly going out of print.

About time!! I hope Paramount's 100th anniversary will produce several more classic titles. For a start, it would be great to have that other Polanski classic, Rosemary's Baby.

Great news!
incredible how many people have been calling for this.
thank god Paramount seems to be getting it together somewhat.
now let's have the rest of the Paramount John Wayne and Audrey Hepburn films and I'll be mostly happy.

Brilliant news!!
Don't know why nobody asking for absolutely great masterpiece - Sunset Blvd (1950).Samba,any rumor talk about that one?Trully, one of the all time great.Come on,Paramount

I'd looove to see next Paramount titles on Blu too:
Shane - A great western
Stalag 17 - Excellent war flick
Seven Days In May - Great one,too
Play It Again, Sam - Shamefully underrepresented on Blu Woody.Fine comedy
Nashville
The Shootist ('76) - and other Duke's gems.
Marathon Man - Hell yeah.Great thriller

...and maaany others.

I don't think Seven Days In May is owned by Paramount. In the US, it was released on DVD by Warner. I agree, it would be great to have it on Blu though.

Part of me wants to cheer along, but part of me wants to say, Let's not get too excited yet. We don't know yet whether Paramount will put any particular effort into this release.

I watched this the other week on CANAL+ HD Scandinavia and it looks fantastic. If they use the same master, i don't think many gonna be disappointed when it's released on blu-ray

It'd be nice if The Two Jakes got a blu as well, its actually a good film that had the misfortune to follow a truly great one. Its a pity Cloverleaf was never made.
