Casino Royale is a favorite around here. England specific titles of interest may be Tudors, which looks great in blu and Goal: The Dream Begins brings blu-ray to the pitch.

I guess I'll be the one to say it's Blu and not Blue

but anyway, welcome and congrats on the excellent investment.

I'll second Casino Royale. If you aren't against animation, get Cars and Ratatouille for sure.

Depending on what you're into, I'll also reccomend:

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer or Live Free or Die Hard for Action Movies
Pirates of the Caribbean for Adventure
Stranger than Fiction for Comedy (and a bit of romance)
Underworld: Unrated for some vampires
The Fifth Element for Sci-fi (Sunshine gets a lot of attention as well, but I personally haven't seen it)

EDIT - I think you might be able to get The Island in the UK as well. I'm a big fan of this movie and it's supposed to have pretty decent PQ on Blu as well.

This will drive the grain haters insane, but I think 300 looks unbelievable on Blu.

Welcome ,

Nice to see a fellow bristolian on here

I would recommend importing car’s just for the wow factor when you see the picture and also importing Underworld: Unrated too because the UK version is really bad being only mpeg 2 and only Dolby digital

Here are my top 10 must haves

1. Cars (USA)
2. Underworld: Unrated (USA)
3. Apocalypto (USA)
4. Spiderman Box set (UK)
5. Resident Evil: The High Definition Trilogy (USA)
6. Harry Potter Limited Edition Gift Set (USA)
7. The Island (UK)
8. Starship trooper (UK)
9. 3:10 to yuma (USA or UK)
10. Ratatouille (UK) when it comes out on the 11th feb
