Not due till December 26th this year, but for the first time in HD.

To be honest it absolutely shocked me. [It was for holding Vettel up in practice], despite the fact that it was Vettel's mistake that allowed him to fall back behind.

Thankfully they're doing a Blu-ray, this will hopefully be tremendous.

I haven't picked up a review since 2007, can anyone state whether the 2008~2010 reviews are worth getting? Quality okay?

I re-watched the awesome 2006 DVD a couple weeks ago, worst DVD I think I've ever seen in my entire life. Pixelation abounds.

I'm probably one of the few in the US that owns all of the available FIA reviews, so... can't wait for this one. Wonder if I'll have to import or if there will be a R1 version

Will it feature 5.1 surround sound? I watched every race in HD but my HD sat receiver isn't hooked up to my surround system so I don't really know if it was produced with surround sound.

I only bought a couple of DVD season reviews (all onle had stereo sound), because they're usually quite disappointing. They always leave out some parts, maybe not important incidents but a season review needs to have all overtakes and incidents, even if they are from backmarkers and had no real significance towards the result in the races.

The races all had 5.1 this year, hopefully the Blu-ray will be lossless or uncompressed 5.1 goodness. It would be great if there were some exclusives on here due to disc size, like some on board laps or sounds of the race.

I think they're missing out by not doing a deluxe Blu-ray 10 disc set with all races in their entirety.

Why did you post a comment? clearly this Blu-ray is for the fans. Personlly F1 is fantastic especially the last few seasons. Football on the other hand is complete rubbish. At least England are successful in motorsport unlike Football.

You obviously never watched a race or don't understand it, it is by far the most exciting sport to watch on tv (and in person too). But I'm not going to make an effort to explain it to you because you don't seem to be that open minded to things you don't like

Surprised to see quite a few posts on this already. Where the hell are you guys when the seasson is on, It's pretty lonely over in the F1 season thread!

Definately be picking this up, Got all reviews from 1990-2010. To be honest they all look like crap. Can't belive it took so long for Bernie to finally fork out for a decent HD production.

But now SKY have rights look out for F1 3D broadcasts around the time of the British GP and maybe 2013 season we will see a 3D season review.

Sky have nothing to do with how F1 is filmed, they just broadcast the world feed that is produced by FOM, only thing Sky will film themselves is the pre and post race program. Don't expect Silverstone 2012 to be in 3D. FOM are always late with bringing in new things, they were 7 years late with introducing widescreen broadcasts, and only this year it was in HD for the first time.

Nah I used to like Formula 1 years ago when I was a kid, then I think the last season I watched was 1996 maybe, since then I just aint been into it. Maybe thats 'cause I got my first bike soon after. Dont think I would buy a Moto GP BD release on the other hand either.

Each to their own I guess, sorry for trolling whatever that means
