This. I see nothing in this screenshot that isn't done already, and done better in at least a dozen different games.

That said, Hideo Kojima does have a history of making really good games, so as long as he keeps his tendency to make characters ramble on for 30+ minutes at a time in check, I'll be cautiously optimistic.

I dozed off during the cut scene when Snake was speaking to big boss at the end of MGS4. So that should say something about Kojima's ridiculously long cut scenes (speaking of MGS4, I saw it at BB today and was tempted to buy it but, no trophies which is one of Kojima's mistakes because if he added trophies to it, he could easily sell at least another million copies).

Is that for the Wii or Vita? If that is for the PS3....well that is pretty bad looking for PS3 standards;MGS4 looks much better and is several years old now.

edit: I never did finish MGS4, though I was told I was near the end

Didnt look bad to me and dont forget those are just screenshots from a game which is still in development and not the finalized version.

I don't think so...He clearly say's "new title" on his twitter account, showcasing the military pic that's running on the FOX engine.

The second pic though, with the nurses, does seem like a FOX engine tech demo as he is displaying the transparency effect the engine can process.

Either way, he's flat out confirmed MGS5 is in development and it clearly looks like this could be the first released screenshot. Did it blow me away? No. Is it exciting knowing they're working on something that looks like MGS? Definitely.
Could it be a Vita game? God I hope not....
