Default Picked up the Integra DTR-40.3

This receiver so far sounds seemingly much better than my pioneer elite ever did. Music and movie soundtrack and dialogue is more crisp and robust and I haven't even ran Audyssey yet. Waiting for a mic stand to come. Will fill everyone in later.

Thanks nizmo, I can't wait to run it. Will keep you posted on my thoughts. I wanted Audyssey, Anthem was a little out of my price range especially with Xmas here. I picked up the Integra for just about 200 under the msrp of 999. Works for me.

Congrats on your purchase! Don't forget you get a free sub to Sirius Internet Radio, if you call them, they might extend it more than the month if you do it thru the receiver. Also check out the V-Tuner Internet radio. If your looking for settings and are confused, just ask!

Congrats. Sometimes its the pairing of a receiver and speakers that makes the combo sound better. However, as nice as Pioneers are, I do like my Integra much better then any Pioneer Ive heard. I feel like the Integra's are fairly neutral but with enough warmth to keep it nice and musical.

Congrats on your purchase. After doing some auditioning (mentioned in the other integra post) I've decided to go with the 40.3 as well.
Let us know what your impressions are after you've put it through its paces.

Congrats and welcome to the Integra family. I'm a fairly new 40.3 owner as well and loving it!

Will run Audyssey this week I hope. I've been pretty sick and trying to recover. Sinus infection. But tinkering around with it a little and reading the manual. I love this thing. So far so good. Posted a pic in my gallery.

How's the reliability of the integra receivers ?
in the philippines there is no dealer for integra.
planning to import one from the USA. Just hope it doesn't break down.
We do have an onkyo dealer here but are these the same machines ?
Would appreciate some inputs.

I would never give up the ice amps, there so sweet and warm sounding. I like what MCACC does over audyssey from my onkyo 705. Plus you can tweak a ton of stuff even after calibration. It doesn't EQ the sub though, which sucks. But they have outboard EQ's out there so it really not a bad thing.

If i do decide to upgrade, it wont be another pioneer. Not after they stopped using ICE and changed the design.

Oh, enjoy the integra. ...............thats the only AVR i would buy if i upgraded or need to add another receiver. Their multichannel power performance is similar to the SC's. I would get the 70.3.

USA Integra 40.3

Psyched. I just picked up my 40.3 last night and after a swap from my old TX-SR607, I'm up and running. U-571 never sounded so good.
I need a suggestion for a upgrade blu-ray. I currently have a PS/3 and am having a hard time seeing a better value. I've looked at the OPPO BDP-83 (could care less about 3D anything) and it has all the features I need but it's outrageously priced. I'm not being cheap just don't like over paying. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What features do you need?

I think after doing a little research I'm going to get a OPPO BDP-95. It has all the audio/video features I'm looking for (everything basically).
Is there a better player out there?

Why are you getting the OPPO BDP-95 since you already have a PS3?

I thought the same thing for myself Hamp. I want the most out of my system, but I don't want to wait for Sony to decide or not decide to include True DolbyHD w/3D video playback. Thought about selling one of my cars to get an Oppo-95 but I realized my PS3 does everything except TDHD/3D and bitstreaming through-put to my receiver for the new sound codecs. So, I went with a Panny DT210 BD player to subsidize my player's shortcomings. $125 to fill in the gaps...I'm happy with it.

How are you going to connect the Oppo to the Integra? If you're just hooking it up via HDMI save yourself some $$$ and get the Oppo BDP-93. Using the HDMI will negate the 95s advantages over the 93.
