Dog if u enjoyed the movie and are a fan then yes.. if u only want it for 3D purposes i would pass.. i will never watch that crap in 3D again.. it did nothing in the experience for me in 3D.. i rather watch in 2D and save my battery life on my glasses

just my opinion

In my honest opinion, I think 17 dollars is still too much for this title. I remember going to the theaters to watch this, the use of 3D seemed almost nonexistent to me. There's definitely MUCH better 3D content out there for your buck!

I really enjoyed this movie for the movie itself, the 3D in the theaters was not as good as the 3D on the Bluray at least I thought it was more evident at home. But like said above if you like the film then the price is great for a 3D copy of it but if your looking for 3D experience there better films to get it in.

Thanks, I'm only looking at this title for the 3D value, saw the movie on HBO and thought it was really mediocre. I have a few movies that if I watched them in 2D I wouldn't care much for them but in 3D they are fun movies. I'll pass on this one.

I hate them movie but seriously, the 3D isn't as bad as the "legend" would have it. I wonder how many people who dog it actually own it. It's not great, but it's not the worst. For $17 it's not a horrible deal. But liking ANY movie you buy helps. If it's just for 3D, go buy something you like even if it's a few bucks more.

I saw Drive Angry and Piranha as screeners in 2D and did not like either film but then I scooped them up in 3D and that made them completely different films for me. I showed my brother RE in 3D, he had saw the film on HBO and said it was ok, but in 3D the film kicks ass. So there are some movies that aren't that great but the 3D elevates it greatly, Titans it would seem is not one of those.

I'll just avoid Titans for now and who knows maybe it will drop as low as Hoodwinked Too has.

Funnily enough...I have just finished watching this movie, and personally I really enjoyed it (guess it depends on your tastes) Why buy a movie if you arent the least bit interested in sword wielding action - just to see what the 3d is like? And then bag it when you don't enjoy the movie....

Contrary to all the negative comments on here I actually found the 3d to be pretty good with plenty of depth, how-ever with that came a certain feeling of the 3d being "un-natural" and in some cases almost "forced" There are a few areas where the 3d also looks "rushed" but overall it's not bad.....

Sam Worthington for some reason reminded me of early Mel Gibson (mad max era)...sure the whole thing is rather predictable - but then what movies arent!

Summary - I would say that the movie was "over-slammed" by critics who as usual were comparing the 3d to Avatar! And possibly because it wasnt a box-office smash!

The story flows (and doesn't drag on, and on - my knock at Avatar ), unlike some much better touted movies out there, actors seem to fit their roles pretty well.....if there is one gripe I do have it's that the djin (desert people) seem too plastic looking....It's the kind of movie you really need to judge on your own merits.

Hope this er kinda helps,
Chris

Id say no. The movie was mediocre and dissipointing but watchable. The 3D however is just lacking. There just isn't much of it and its so weak at times that it hardly even seems worth wearing glasses. It does have a few moments where the 3D benefits the picture but they are few and far between

Definitely. It is a great movie, and whilst it does not have perfect 3D it does still add to some moments (Kraken).
I bought it for twice that price and gave away my 2D to a mate. The only reason I have only watched it once is because I have seen it so many times beforehand in 2D. Very happy with my purchase though...

A year ago, this was out of stock and selling at $40 on ebay. And if you happen to win it then for less than $38, you're a happy camper. Just for perspective.

Are you sure you're watching the same "Clash Of the Titans" movie? My copy has plenty of 3d depth from start to finish

Sometimes I think that when people watch something they know is a conversion, their brain tells them that it is not good 3D. Yes, native is miles better (I borrowed Avatar off a mate last week, WOW!), but some of these conversions cop more of a flogging than they deserve.
Whilst I do not have Airbender yet, I thought it had some good moments at the cinema, but was still the flattest 3D movie I have seen. Clash was a lot better than this, but being a big Shyamalan fan I will still buy the 3D when it finally comes to Australia.

The end scene with the Kraken looked good in 3D, but besides maybe the scorpion scene, everything else has very conservative 3D to the point I wondered, "Is this even in 3D?" It is, but it looks mostly flat.

On that note, the same could be said for Tron Legacy 3D's 3D, which was filmed in 3D, but done so conservatively it mind as well should've been 2D. I love Tron Legacy the movie, so I'm not happy to say that. At least there is some 3D effect, but man, it's a "What could've been..."

I hope they get it right with Rash of the Titans, I mean Wrath of the Titans, and Tron Legacy 2.

Im a big fan of 3D, and I forgive a lot. Airbender even I will admit was extremely lacking, and probably the worst disc I own. Yet, I still own it.
Clash of the Titans I havent got to see in 3D yet. Even if it's that bad, I cant see ignoring it when I have Airbender on my shelf. LOL.
This is a good price. I think I might nab it up.

I broke down and bought it, Clash for 16.99 and Yogi Bear for 17.99. I have all the titles I want except for Thor and Green Lantern which don't seem to come down under 30 dollars.

I just did the same. I figured for that much, it's only a few bucks more than the 2D edition and I've wanted to see it anyways.

Yogi Bear, however, has some great 3D!

Excellent news, dog! Please do report back here with your opinion of the movie, and the AQ and PQ of the disc!

Thor and GL did come down to 19.99 briefly at Overstock. I want GL but it was sold out quickly. Thor came back but I didn't pull the trigger. I did get Cars 2, POTC, Lion King, and Cap America for the same price though.

I saw Clash in the theater 3D. It was a big let down especially after seeing Avatar.

I did buy it though when the price drops to 16.99. Will see if the 3D is better at home or not.

From what I understand, Clash has had further work done on the 3D effects after its cinema release. I think the German release is the same as the cinema release, but all other releases have the new redone transfer on them.
