9 1/2 Weeks, in particular, is a great film, which ought to sell well on BD in the UK, so what gives WB?

Not a good film, though Pandora Peaks is errrm interesting. It killed stone dead the possibility of any more adaptations of Carl Hiaasen's books which is a pity as Native Tongue, Skin Tight and Lucky You had the potential to make great films

I don't think it was. Kinda funny how that cover says "Unrated International Version" only to also include a stonking "15" rating right above it.

Poor choice of words perhaps, it could be uncut and rated 15. From what I remember it was pretty tame.

Well, yes, it could be "uncut", but not "unrated". I mean, they obviously just grabbed a cover that had been used previously in the US. It wasn't really "cut" to begin with, I don't think - this version just throws some extra stripping scenes into the theatrical cut.
