Comfortable seating...

... and I dont mean theater seats.
I am looking for a large comfy sectional sofa for my room. Where should I look locally (GTA)? I have been to the Brick, Leons and they dont seem to have what I am looking for at all. Maybe I am not looking hard enough or in the wrong places hehe. I dont want to go custom $$$$$ will be an issue. What brands should I be looking at if anything specific?

Leon's and Brick have good choices , did you checked also in there website ?

When you mean sectional are you talking about a L shape or like HT look like these pictures .





I bought this at the Brick and it does the work , and it's also a recliner .

I was thinking of something like the 'L' shape. But the short part of the 'L' not to have any backing. Sort of like a lounging part hehe. Like in your second picture.

I bought a set of leather couches. One being a two seater home theater style with cup holders and i love it and it reclines.the othe a three seater and also the ends reclines. I hope you find the sofa you are looking for bud.

When we went looking for theatre seating we ended up at Stoney Creek Furniture, just a short ways from you, that place is always worth checking out. I'd say the quality of the furniture is a notch or two up from The Brick or Leon's, but you do pay more for it. We also went to Parks in Hamilton, they have a wide variety on the floor... not sure how use to driving around Hamilton you are though, the neighborhood Parks is in isn't quite like you'd find in Milton . You could also check out Midtown Furniture in Mississauga, this is where I ended up buying my seats from and was very happy with the service I got from Michael there. I know you said you weren't looking for theatre seating but all of these places sell a wide variety of furniture, my family has bought from Stoney Creek on a number of occasions and have always been happy, this is my first experience with Midtown and since my chairs are on order I can't give them a 100% thumbs up until I get my seats, but so far so good on the service side.

If you check my HT thread you will see the seats I got. I got them at the Brick and the price just could not be beat. Sooooo damn comfortable hehe

I still have no idea why your thread was moved... I never read that forum. I checked your gallery and the seats look nice.. But the room... It looks fantastic! Love the flooring. You ended up with theatre seating though... I'm surprised.

These are loveseats and have the storage/cupholders in between. They are sooooo comfy. I fell in love the first time I sat in them.
