Couldn't happen to a nicer soon-to-be-dead format.

I don't understand how they could be "not available". Didn't they get mountains of them returned?

Somebody explain to me why ANYBODY would buy a "combo player." At $799 (Worst Buy price) they cost $100 more than a FAR superior Blu-ray player (BD30 or PS3) + a soon to be dead Toshiba A30. And those players are going to save HD DVD?

I think this is the last gen of combo players we'll see.

We still have the A3 and 30 at our store. Next time I work I'll take a pic and post it. We literally have them in a corner up high. It's humorous.

Can you confirm if your store is indeed phasing out HD-DVD players?

A3 - 1080i only w/ethernet
A30 - 1080p24 w/ethernet
A35 - 1080p24 Deep Color with analog audio out w/ethernet

I'm sure there are other differences but those are the biggies.
