Am I the only person who is giddy as a school boy over this? C&C is one of my all-time favorite franchises, having been a fan since the first game came out in 1995. I also loved the C&C Renegade FPS game that came out several years back.

Currently slated for Q3 2008.

I am going to await some further reviews and see what some people say about the gameplay.

i have too many shooters on my list, im gonna try staying away from some of them.

It's a shooter based off the RTS.

I remember Renegade very well I cant wait to play this on the PS3 they just need to keep the hackers out, and again deliver a sharp single player experience and there in.

I wonder if they will allow mods for the console version... hmm well no that wasn't a good idea for Renegade after the hackers were done...

That game accomplished alot of team play, with classes and vehicles that the players purchased...

Cant wait.

C&C Renegade was AWESOME!!! i was really surprised, expected garbage.. i wonder why they never made a sequel

Because alot of people saw it as garbage.

And when the sequel talk was rumbling, Westwood was flailing rather poorly.

At the time their president was in love with the Red Alert franchise [I like it better myself too, but well, C&C was their Flagship line].
