Amazon.fr / Is there anyway around this?

So Im checking out Amazom.fr & have an order... If I cant order then Ill be doing the group buy later on, they just have a heck of a sale going on right now..

After adding items to my cart & clicking to ship to my address I get...

Are you sure the items you were going to purchase are sold DIRECTLY from Amazon?

Chances are they are being sold through the marketplace, or another seller whom is selling on Amazon. Many of those sellers do not ship internationally, and thus why your order could not be completed.

Any item that you try to purchase that is actually being sold by Amazon.fr directly will most definitely be available to ship internationally. I order from Amazon.fr all the time.

Yes usually you have this message because the product is actually being sold from a seller and not from Amazon

also: if it is a seller that says "fulfilled by amazon" it will also not let you check out if you don't live in France.
very frustrating.
you would think since amazon.fr has the item that there wouldn't be an issue, but apparently there is.

You know, people from outside US have exacly the same problems with Amazon.com than you have on Amazon.fr. I live in France and I sometimes go to Amazon.com (and Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ca, Amazon.it...) and the local Amazon don't sell outside the land. We have to buy from a seller who does. Some sellers don't sell outside US, some others don't sell outside France, England, Italy, etc. We have to buy to sellers who accept international shipment. And they're not many, usually...

For whatever reason none of the Amazons will ship items fulfilled by them for third party sellers to foreign countries. It's likely a tax issue they don't want to deal with for all their third party sellers.
