2012 Zombie Apocalypse Review

I love Zombie movies and I like Ving Rhames. Wonder if I should check this out? Anyone else besides the reviewer see this?

It was ok. And I mean average. Eddie Steeples aka Crab Man from My Name is Earl was in it. I was like; "WOW!!!" I am planning on picking the Blu-ray up sooner or later. Asylum titles are always expensive, so I'm always checking out the imports. Mega Shark Vs Crocosaurus is out in Germany on BD.

This is like the third time in like 5 years he's done this. Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and then Zombie Apocalypse. From theatrical to straight to video and then right to television.

I am experiencing problems with freezing during the playback of this Blu-ray. Especially playing the last chapter. Sometimes the Blu-ray just shuts down. The BD looks physically fine there are no apparent flaws.
I have reported this to Amazon and received a replacement. The 2nd one is doing the same thing I will exchange this one more time before I bring it to Asylum Home Entertainments attention. Has anyone else have problems with this new release? I would suggest playing the last chapter. My Blu-ray player: Sony BDP-S1700ES. All Updates are current, Erased BD Data, Upplugged & Rebooted Made no difference.

I'm a big huge fan of Zombie movies. Checked this one out the other day, it sucks. After 15 minutes of viewing I had to stop the movie. Waste of my time. acting, zombies, effects, horrible. Will not recommend at all. Waste of time and money. Very very cheesy flick

I know it didn't get the best reviews, but after my 4th viewing earlier today I think I can safely say this one has a spot in my top 10 of all-time. Movies simply don't get much more fun or replayable.

i seen mega shark vs crocosauraus i hope it comes out to the us in blu ray.....and it has a grown up jaleel white in it who used to play the part of steve urkel on family matters and was also recently on dancing with the stars.

There's a Blu-ray in Germany, but I am not sure if it's region locked or not. I've been meaning to get it for a while now.

I know this is like a year late, but mine does the exact same thing. The entire movie is fine, but the final chapter - once they get to the docks onwards - is just terribly skippy and constantly freezing and giving me issues. I've looked the disc over with a magnifying glass and can't see even the tiniest scratch or smudge anywhere on it. I've tried looking online for a replacement disc, but it seems it's been discontinued. Amazon is still selling it but only have a couple discs left and nowhere else, including Ebay, seems to have any copies for sale, so I'm wondering if maybe the playback issue was a widespread one and instead of putting in the effort to fix it, they probably just decided to stop making them all together.

Was the glitching and freezing a widespread issue on these discs? I saw one used at Cash America but I’m not sure if I should get it.
