I'd like to hear how he felt about Drive since he put it under the "nice try" category. Did he think that it tried too hard? I felt that way, but I still ended up loving it.

This puzzled me too. My guess is that he saw things about the film that he would have done differently.

Top 10's are so subjective though, can't fault him for being a movie fan like the rest of us.

I don't usually agree with Quentin. This year is no exception.

For someone who makes films I like so much, it's weird how I don't really agree with his taste.

His movie lists each year are usually bizarre. He's just an insane individual...but he can make a damn good movie...that is when he isn't masturbating over his own dialog.

Everyone loves his masturbatory dialogue. That's his strength. The only dialogue of his that put me to sleep was the girl talk in Death Proof.

Jesus, you're not kidding! The scenes without Kurt Russell put me to sleep. I couldn't care less about what the girls were blabbing about. I usually like his writing but he has a tendency to go overboard in some of his movies. Some of it just goes on and on and on and on.

I think he's honestly a huge movie fan. I remember some interview where he's talking about how he used to pretty much watch every movie that was released. His favorites are always a bit too "normal" for me. It's like he'd have fun going to the movies with my dad or something. I don't get it.
