Wow! I'm so happy this found it's way to the US!

I'm from Belgian, the movie is a Belgian production... Honestly, it's worth checking it out! Not saying this because I want to be a patriot lol.

Thank you, OP! I had been thinking about ordering from abroad because I have read on the message board here that many consider it the best use of 3D on Blu yet. But I wonder if there is also going to be a separate non-3d Blu release? Amazon has a pre-order up but it only says Blu-ray, with no mention of 3D.

The 3D is very good but the movie/storyline isn't.
Kids will like it, adults not so much.
This is no Finding Nemo, not even in the same league, yes it's underwater and some of the story seems similar to Nemo but it doesn't come close.

You can rent the 3D version from VUDU $5.99. I would recommend doing that before purchasing if your not getting this for the kids.

Still don't know why they keep giving it a different title. This will have two different names in states.

Looks like the 3D version was too good to be true.

Yeah, if you want this is 3D, your best bet is importing it from YesAsia. The 3D is as good as anything out there and probably better. The story itself is "cute" but it's definitely a little kids movie. I like animation (nothing like a Pixar story) but I would have never purchased this if it wasn't for the 3D.

"While Sammy's Adventures: The Secret Passage certainly comes nowhere near to Nemo in story or character, rather amazingly, it comes surprisingly close in animation quality. This is some incredibly pretty and well done animation, certainly worthy of attention from those who like CGI fests."

Haha! Based on the screenshots, this movie looks like shit! Nowhere near the quality of Finding Nemo, not even the first Toy Story.

watched this with my 7 yr old last night based on the review here. Well the PQ isn't 5 stars and the sound is terrible(not 4 1/2 stars). I watched it on our 108" HD projector and the sound system consist of Rotel amps, Pioneer elite receiver, Hsu VTF-15H sub and a 7.1 Monitor Audio speakers so it wasn't the system. The sound is very thin and I kept feeling I was listening to an old old movie that they tried to touch up the sound for HD audio. No bass at all, it doesn't sound anything like the review. The story is OK and the PQ is good, but the audio is 2 stars at best.

Why in the world is there no US 3d release of this. The sequel in 3d on Blu-ray is now available for pre-order.
