They are finally going to put in theatres on April 18th, 2008

For those who don't know this was a movie done by Al Pacino last year that never received a theatrical release and was slated to be a straight to DVD release.

Just scroll down and you'll find it...he kind of looks like Carlito in the poster

and btw...this comes out the same day as Righteous Kill (starring Pacino and De Niro) So you're getting two Pacino movies on one day

I am a big Pacino fan, so I will probably buy the movie. However, you comments about a straight to DVD release worries me. Usually if they omit a theatrical release, it is because the movie is either low budget or sucks.

This was partly filmed at my school so I was wondering when it was going to come out. Thanks for the heads up.

You would buy it without seeing it first? I never make a blind purchase.
