I just buy two bluray steelbook in my local store.

I've never seen a steelbook that looks exactly like a lenticular slipcover before.

EDIT: My apologies. The pictures of the steelbook didn't show up when I posted in this thread. I only saw the pictures of the slip cover when going into this thread.

Nice slip but disappointing that its not a complete set.

Also, the 2D PQ in the new release is inferior to the original release.

Why would they do that?

Yep, that's why a lot of people seem to have complained to Michael Bay about this as the remastering was completely screwed up.

What's this about the 2D version (which is on a single blu-ray disc) being inferior to the new release? I thought the disc was identical (apparently a repackaging), as the extras will be on a separate blu-ray disc. The 3D version is also on a separate disc.

Received mine a couple of days ago. Thanks HMV HK for marking it as "gift", I was expecting to pay some customs duty on it but my wallet has given a sigh of relief.

I think the talk has been that the 3D version has some quality issues, somethg about the brightness.

This arrived yesterday from dddhouse, thought the slip is not lenticular anymore. It's a nice steelbook.
