Charge Of The Light Brigade (1968) - running time?

Tony Richardson's 'The Charge Of The Light Brigade' was released on BD in France on February 8th. Can anyone who has this please confirm the running time of the film on this BD edition? I want to check whether it's the complete version or the cut version that has been released previously on DVD.

Yikes! Thanks for the warning.

That's strange, because the Australian BD release is 1080/24p. I was assuming they would be the same transfer.

As they are evidently from different sources, I'd still like to know the running time for the French edition (although an adjustment would obviously have to be made for the 25 fps frame rate). If, by any chance, it does turn out to be the full uncut version, I would still buy it just for that reason.

Many thanks for the info, Geoffrey. Allowing for the 25fps frame rate, that's sadly the same 130 mins cut version that has been previously released on DVD and on an Australian Blu-ray.

Geoffrey is incorrect about the running time. I own the French BD, It's in 2.35:1, and the running time is listed on the back as 140 mins. It's viewable without French subtitles. I took a chance and it paid off. But now there's a UK disc (released 3 months ago by Final Cut Eentertainment) you won't have to. It's my favorite Tony Richardson film. It appears we have similar tastes as my most wanted Blu-rays include Catch-22, After Hours and Carnal Knowledge.
