In other words, Sly is open to the possibility of reprising John Rambo again. Depends on the script. Might even depend on who is cast opposite him – if they decide to go the “passing the torch” route. What do you think guys? Should Sly do an ‘Unforgiven’ or ‘Tron Legacy’ when it comes to “Rambo 5″?

I just hope it happens, and no more of this back and forth of will I/won't I that Sly has been doing over the past few years. It's already been four years since the last one. If he's going to do it, get on it and do it. We're waiting.

I just hope they dont go the "passing the torch” route... Sly is Rambo and no one else

Agreed. None of that passing of the torch stuff. There is only one Rambo, and it's Stallone. Lionsgate is going to make a fifth with or without him it seems, so I'd rather he did it and went out on a high note than letting Lionsgate doing one without him. There was even rumors of a Rambo prequel at one stage.

I remember years ago he rumor was a movie called "First Born", and was about Rambo finding a son he never knew he had. There's been more rumored Rambo films than actual ones, lol.

I dont remember his name, and I dont think he died, but I hope they bring back that sniper dude... the one that stayed back and waited for sly as he was saving the girl in the camp.... That was a

I don't recall seeing that in the UK BD of the film, i must go back and take a look at it again. Good grief, what an amazing country the US is: gun-based violence get's a free freakin' pass but visceral physical violence (read: the Hatchet films) gets slammed and slapped with an NC17.

...Aaaand cue Southpark The Movie quote, which is all too true...

If it is of the style of the last Rambo, I'm all for it...unless they go the PG-13 route like The Expendables 2

The character came full circle after those extremely idiotic middle sequels. Not sure where he thinks the character should go from here. Brian Dennehy's character returns and needs his help? Rambo's father is the leader of the Bluetooth secret society that's controlling President Logan and needs Jack Bauer stopped?

Best part about that list: no sex scenes. These movies are about muscles and murder. That is all.

Kind of. The first is very different from IV and has a ton of story, but still no sex. Definitely isn't all muscle and murder. Both are awesome in their own ways.

While First Blood set the template, the 3 sequels are straight up unabashed action films.
