you can also argue that for Day of the Dead..

Dawn Of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead
Night of the Living Dead

if you go by order of movie the only really "Post" would be Night of the Living Dead..

yes it was the first Romero Zombie flick.. but if you wanted to make sense of the movies it would go; Wake up (Dawn of the dead) daytime (Day of the Dead) Nighttime (Night of the Living Dead) Post (land of the dead)

oops just noticed i switched Night of the Living Dead and Land of the Dead)

this is how i always thought of the series.. i could be wrong of course but this makes sense to me

Wrong, Night was first. Night-Dawn-Day-Land.

I think "Tank Girl" is missing on the list of not released on BD Post Apocalyptic Movies.

Regarding Night/Dawn/Day of the (living) Dead:
It is obious that Night is before Dawn: in Dawn it is a Problem from beginning. Every one knows of the phenomena, while in Night the media just started to bring the news. The End of Night of the living Dead still brings hope that the Zombies could be eliminated completely. In Day everything is overrunned allready, als media dead.
So Night of the living Dead is someway pre-apocalyptic, dawn is more apocalypse and Day is post apocalyptic.

The Happening. And yes I like the film.

Soylent Green.

The Divide

Vanishing on 7th Street. Awesome movie.

Pulse. Wish they'd release the original

Blindness. I have it on Blu RAy

2012

Good call on Final Fantasy Spirits within - I'd have not even thought of that one, but it definitely is. Great film.

Love the Genre too.

there was a TV movie in the 80s called The Day After. I don't remember much about it since I was only 7 but I remember being scared by it.

Yeah, with Jason Robards. I had to watch it in high school and it did an excellent job showing why nuclear war is moronic.
