The Artist will definitely still get Best Picture, but I've got my fingers crossed for Marty! (Still a long shot though)

This makes me wish Cirque du Soleil would do a show with the great music/moments of cinema.

No, it's not. Vegas odds give The Artist roughly a 90% chance of winning Best Picture. If you honestly think it won't win go place a bet on the field and rake in some cash.

Everyone thought Saving Private Ryan had it...

I still think The Artist has it, I'm not saying that, but I didn't really expect this much love for Hugo. And I want it to be unpredictable.

The only reason I'm not 100% sold that The Artist has it is the past. Remember Avatar and Brokeback Mountain. Both supposedly had it in the bag.

Huh? The Hurt Locker and Avatar were considered to have basically an even shot at Best Picture going into Oscar night. Avatar was no favorite. Brokeback Mountain losing out was only a mild upset. Neither were considered overwhelming favorites like The Artist is. Hope I'm wrong.

Sandra Bullock won a few years ago for Blindside.

Rock was funny but I feel like he sort of buried the process there a bit. I know he was knocking actors but...

Yea for Gore Verbinski and Rango!

This is really bizarre seeing no Pixar film even nominated for Best Animated Film. They put out their first bad film ever with Cars 2 last year.

3-8, thought the over-rated Kung Fu Panda 2 had it in the bag.

Nah that was Wall-E, wonder how much longer this telecast is, at least that acceptance speech wasn't too long.
