Love Aaj Kal(EROS) - IMO Movie was GR8! but the PQ was pathetic! dull-lifeless-creamy picture.
all SHEMAROO Blu-rays :- Because of their silly WATERMARK through-out the movie! 3 Idiots(Big Home Video) - one of my favorite movies of all times. the BD came in very late and then it had authoring issues like the menu not working properly and PQ was plain average and audio had issues too! Jab we Met(Moser Baer)- again gr8 movie and average PQ! Veer Zaara(YRF)- i just love this movie! but again PQ was below average....the picture was milky! Lage Raho Munna Bhai (EROS)- it only had a 384 kbps Dolby Digital Audio track! ![]() These are all i recall at present ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Based on what i read somewhere, i believe there is a Devdas blu ray by some taiwanese company which is supposed to be worse than VCD quality. I think hands down that wins the title.
Agree with Divyansh for Veer Zaara... A legendary movie like this one from Yash Chopra himself got the worst treatment among all the YRF titles. At the least they shd have given it the digital HDTV look like KHNH/mohabbatein even if it is non-filmic so that most people would have been a lot happier. Instead they made it worse by encoding the extended cut on BD- the BD owner would never know the original theatrical flow of the film. Only one more to add from my side- Ghajini for the painful audio. I agree that the video is almost reference quality but No matter what i could never bring myself to watch this particular BD again after the first viewing with the fear of going deaf. IMO the surrounds were wrongfully encoded so loud that it beats all south indian movies left right and center(no offence) - probably 'the loudest title' winner in BDs. Sanjay knows about the long argument i had with him on this one ![]() |

no... i corrected it in my next post its audio was perfectly fine and the mix was very good indeed. i wrote that because my amp was in multi mode (which plays the same sound through all the speakers) when i first watched it.
