Need advice on some movies to buy... - Blu-ray Forum

I'm at work right now (Best Buy), and I received some bonus type deal from Bank of America, so I want to buy some BD's with it. Now, here's what I've narrowed my choices down to (but I'm open to suggestions):

The Rock: Now I know I'm buying this no matter what, and I know it's a great movie

Stranger then Fiction: I hear it's a good movie, and I've seen parts of it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the money, thinking twice about it.

Money Python's Life of Brian: I'm a fan of the Holy Grail movie, but I haven't seen any other MP's. Is this one worth it? I'm holding the last copy in the store.

I'd appreciate any comments on these plus suggestions of others. I'd trying to spend around <$25 per movie (I get The Rock and LoB for $18).

I already have Con Air.

But how is Crimson Tide? I've never seen that movie.

The Rock.. Definately..

Stranger than fiction - I own this, and the movie is great.. and the picture quality is awesome!

any POTC is awesome.

'Monty Pythons Life Of Brian' - Many Catholics take HUGE offense to the content. But it is hilarious nontheless. Keep that in mind if you are one of those religious zealots.

'The Rock' - You can never go wrong with a better copy of this film.

'Stranger Than Fiction' - A film that should have earned Will Farell, at the very least, an Oscar nomination. Not necessarily Blu-ray "show off" material, but still a fantastic film that I'm glad to have in my collection.

Buy the Resident Evil movies. PQ is great, especially Extinction! it's amazing!
