Well I gave it a try using Vivid, but it was just too over saturated for my liking. I had to keep it on my D-Nice settings. Overall you were right, the picture is phenomenal. For a 2D movie it had excellent depth. But for me, Vivid, is just too much.

The movie overall has been fun and different (in a good way)...the attack and fighting scenes are well done, think Matrix vs. Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon.

I prefer my audio to be in native language, I cannot stand watching foreign films dubbed with English.

But I was getting fatigue trying to read the subtitles while keeping an eye on the fighting scenes.

I was also watching this movie in the bedroom, so my wife made me keep the volume real low ...maybe one day I'll give a try in my living room HT.

Overall I'm glad you pointed this movie out, definitely enjoying the action.

damn wifey :P.... by the way that buddha in the beginning.. they spent $130 million hong kong dollars to make it and it took them 12 months. So its these little factors that make it even more fun...
