Hi all, I currently have the LG BD590, love the player, never had an issue. Bought the new Panasonic ST50 plasma and want the option to have 3D in which I will need a capable player. Anyone have a LG BD690? and if so what are your thoughts. Also my MX-980 remote is programmed for the 590 but will work with the 690...

Read some of the reviews posted on Amazon.com for the BD690. Everyone seems to be having issues with it, with the updates, the firmware, and the HDD. My BD590 is AWESOME. Wish I could find another one, but it seems to be discontinued.

So here's a question. If it has the 250GB hard drive, do I still need to use a flash drive? I was considering one of the lower end LG's, but wasn't crazy with the lack of audio outputs. Seems if I get a soundbar, that I have to pair it up with the TV and not both the TV and BD player. Is there a LG player that I can do that with besides this one?
