As a huge Bunuel fan,this is very exciting news to me

Studio Canal will release Luis Bunuel's masterpiece 'Der diskrete Charme der Bourgeoisie' (Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie) in Germany on July 5th.

is this going to be a Studio Canal Collection release?
(btw: it's definitely been an epic wait for this one with all the delays, etc.)

well if it is a SCC release it would definitely have English subs, so if it is confirmed that it does not then that's not good news.
maybe pro-b could offer some clarification.

It appears to be an Arthaus release. The details show German subtitles only, and I wouldn't have expected anything else from Arthaus.

Looks like we will still have to wait for an English-friendly edition of this great film.

is what the listing states. This was released in the UK by StudioCanal, so I would expect they will include English subtitles and release it in the UK, France and Germany. Maybe as part of the SCC. Let's wait and see what the official specifications are...

It says "Distribution: Studio Canal", they just put a blu-ray banner over the German DVD cover.
