What titles made you want to get a ps3 at launch. (these are the uk titles for March 23rd)

when I got mine there were only several games out, I was more interested in the high def capabilities...more or less curiousity

PS3 had a horrible launch lineup in my opinion, and I didn't want one at launch. I still don't want it for the games as I feel that the xbox 360 has more games I am interested in.

I bought my PS3 as a Blu-ray player first, and a gaming platform second.

I am very excited for little big planet though - probably my most anticipated PS3 exclusive game.

I got mine with Oblivion, my PC is a tad bit underpowered, so it was refreshing to play the game at full potential. Definitely a breathtaking change in this version vs. the version of my PC, which has to be tuned down due to my underwhelming hardware.

None of the launch titles made me want to get a PS3, and apparently the majority of the Playstation faithful were in my boat. Motorstorm and Resistance were great, but the overall list is really lackluster.

I bought a PS3 for Final Fantasy, MGS4, Unreal Tournament 3, and Uncharted.
I was also under the impression that traditional PS titles like GTA4, Resident Evil 5, and Devil May Cry 4 were going to be exclusive until I did my research. But I would have never purchased a 360 under any circumstances. My allegiances have always lied with Japanese consoles and developers.

I got mine for the titles that were to come..Resistance was just a bonus. I had a 360 for a while at PS3 launch because PS3 had terrible titles. I then sold it and bought a Ps3 later on..for Ratchet, Heavenly Sword,and UT 3 etc

Bought my PS3 for the movies the same day I bought my Television, but of course I picked up Resistance at the same time. Great game, but i'm still waiting for a decent Japanese RPG or a turn based strategy.

My main reason behind getting my PS3 was the movies. Resistance may have helped out a little though.

Though while Resistance is fun, I tend to enjoy COD4 more at the moment, and cannot stop playing it online.

And I stand by my purchase of Gundam Crossfire, it
ain't perfect, poor animation which some people have
mistaken for lag , but damn it solves all
those 08 MS Team dreams.

Favorite MS's in that game were...

Sniper,
Striker,
ZakuII,
Gouf,
Dom,

Haven't gotten all the mobile suits yet...

Beaten it once for the feds.
