Haven't seen this one since it was released in theaters, I think I liked it, but I most likely won't get this one.

If the price is right, I will definitely add this to my collection. Glad to see Disney is starting to release some of their "lesser" Animated titles.

even though this is probably the weakest movie in Disney's animated cannon, it still has it's decent points, and because it's part of the cannon, I will be picking it up day 1

I'm torn. I plan to upgrade all my Disney animated features to Blu but this film was terrible.

If you think it's terrible, then you shouldn't be torn. Skip it.

Never saw this one... Is it that bad? Too bad there weren't any coupons for this and "Treasure Planet."

It's like Emperor's New Groove (unpretentious "between" project, broad-cartoony, and sneaks into lovable near the end), and for pretty much the same reason (cleanup of failed studio project).

If you liked Groove, stay in that frame of mind, and it's a fairly cute picture, with good Alan Menken songs which Groove didn't have.
If you're one of the folk who piled on it for not being The Next Lion King because the studio was Supposed to Give Us One, go watch, I dunno..."Tarzan" or something.

Except for that bit about The Emperor's New Groove actually being funny, and this one... isn't.

If you're okay with used. I think that's the only way it will go that low. Even though it's a less popular Disney title I doubt it will drop below $20 like with most other Disney titles.

Not always, in years to come it may drop to around 15 or 10, A lot of dvds dropped to 10 that are the worse titles, it already has a msrp of 29.99 instead of 39.99.

Well, if your local Toys R Us carries it then you can reserve Cinderella with them (5$ depo.) to get 10$ off your bluray purch. So instead of paying 19.99 it would be 14.99 before tax.... again.... only if your local TRU carries it as I don't think it's even available through their website.

On another note... this movie was less memorable for me. I KIND OF liked it when it came out.. now I've looked at it while at target and couldn't help but think I've bought better. Never saw Treasure Planet so don't think I'll be blind buying that movie either. Seems like the less "worthy" films go straight to 19.99 when released on blu.

The Bluray.com review is crazy in regards to their 3/5 score for the PQ. I watched it tonight and was utterly enraptured by just how good it looked. Colors were bold and bright, blacks were inky, each frame was crystal-clear, and I saw absolutely no signs of artifacting on my 55" screen. The film itself is minor in the echelon of Disney's animation canon, but the PQ was nothing less than a perfect 5/5 in my eyes.
