My experience was only demo on KZ3 and GT5
I didn't get enough time to form much of an opinion and wanted to try out some good 3D experiences on my PS3 and see how I like it. Obviously categories like games with best pop out 3D as an enhancement to help you integrate into the environment better and get a more accurate feel for the depth, etc. I was impressed with GT5, and the bits I saw of KZ3 I liked. |

I own quite a few 3D-capable games and a 3DTV. Most I wouldn't give the time of day to when running in 3D mode.
The good ones? Super Stardust HD (amazing in 3D) Child of Eden (also amazing in 3D) Uncharted 3 (superb camera angle work for 3D, especially in cutscenes) Also an honorable mention to: Motorstorm: Apocalypse (only played a few minutes of the demo, but I do have the full game but haven't found time to actually fire it up...) Killzone 3's 3D was disappointing and an eyestrain (though the "floating" blood in your field of vision is a neat effect). Most other games running in 3D gain little to nothing from the extra depth perception. Batman: Arkham City's 3D mode is unnecessary and useless IMO, especially when in Detective Mode, which already causes a ton of eye strain on its own. |

Out of all the games I've played in 3D, the 2 that stood out most were Motorstorm: Apocalypse and Shadow of the Colossus. Uncharted and Batman were decent, but in the end I reverted to 2D when I was playing those. As for MA and SotC on the other hand, it feels like it would be a crime to play in 2D after playing in 3D!
