Importing from Japan - Blu-ray Forum

I'm looking to import LA Confidential from Japan since it is the best Blu-ray release of the film, but what is my recommended vendor? Amazon Japan or YesAsia? I see Amazon Japan has it for $45ish and YesAsia has it for $60ish, but with Amazon Japan's crazy shipping costs it pretty much makes it dead even. Is one vendor better than the other? Thanks a lot in advance.

I found another option for you, HMV Online. It looks like you can get it from them for about $59.50 shipped currently. I've used them a couple times and never had a problem.

I've used all 3. I prefer Amazon just because of their service and they use fast 2 day shipping. The other 2 were fine though.

I went ahead and ordered from HMV Japan, just out of curiosity how long does shipping to the United States typically take?

From what I heard, it's a marginal improvement at MOST. Not worth it, IMHO.
