Received the specs for the two titles above ^. Both are listed as English-friendly. Will have to confirm when the discs eventually arrive, though.

Can I just check - does Les Lyonnais generally come with a slipcover? I just got the FNAC exclusive and it didn't have one, which seemed strange as the few Gaumont releases I have did have one.

Awesome, thanks! Is there a reason that Gaumont is inconsisent when their releases have English subs while others do not?

Les lyonnais is a new movie and therefore does not belong in the Gaumont catalog release collection.

that's why the package is different. (black standard case)
(back cover says region ABC and english subtitles btw)

Well I'm going off the likes of MR 73, 36, Point Blank, JCVD, Le Rafle, etc. Obviously this isn't uniform, but Gaumont do put slips on new titles. Anyway I just wanted to make sure.

Apologies - it was in the catalogue that came with Les Lyonnais.

I cannot speak on behalf of Gaumont

, but I would assume that it is a combination of two things: they already have existing sub files and determine on per-title basis which ones to do (as English-friendly). There are probably some contractual obligations as well.
