Default What movie has the best car chase scene?
I finished watching Drive recently and really liked the car chase scenes especially after the pawn shop robbery. I was wondering what everyone's favorite car chase scene is in any movie. I'm curious to see what is brought up the most.

Has anyone seen Vanishing Point? I watched that on Netflix once. The entire movie was one long car chase.

To Live And Die In L.A. has my favorite car chase - I believe this movie was one of the inspirations for Drive. Friedkin said that he would only include a car chase scene in this movie if it could top The French Connection.

I don't know if this qualifies as an official car chase but the scene near the end of True Lies on the bridge with the trucks and the limo with the fighter jets blowing shit up was pretty epic.

Also Ronin is pretty great. And who can forget the Blue Brothers. Smokey and the Bandit is basically one big car chase movie, only liked the first one though.
