Which is worth pre ordering?

I am looking to pre order two out of three movies that are coming out on June 5th.

Safe House
John Carter
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Can some one help me pick two of the best out of three?

Not that my opinion will matter because I haven't see any of the films but I plan on blind buying at some point Safe House and John Carter. Journey seems to campy for me.

But let me correct some things. I wasn't trying to insult you personally, just this particular thread. And I thought the avatar response was kind of a witty response to what you said. I mean, it kind of does look like a small troll with a big mouth. Anyway I thought your replies to me were kind of funny, and lighthearted so yeah you're okay in my book, even if I don't agree with this thread

I'd recommend you see all of these before buying. They all had mediocre receptions. That said, get John Carter (I liked it enough but not for $30). The Princess is a goddess, easily the best thing about John Carter.

I know 30 dollars for 3D version after 5 dollar coupon.!!!

Anyways, I was going to pre order John Carter yesterday and use 5 dollar coupon on it, but the pre orders were taken down for some reason. So I called amazon and asked why did they take down pre orders, as I was going to order it using that coupon. I told her that it was the last day to use the coupon after today I won't be able to use the coupon. So she gave me 5 dollar credit to use on John Carter 2D, which is fine cause I could care less about 3D.

So I ordered John Carter for 27.99-5=22.99. And I am pretty sure the price for 2D will drop to 22.99 on release date. So I will only be charged 22.99-5=17.99.

John Carter = Buy. Safe House = Rent/Stream. Journey 2 = Catch it on tv some day.

Journey 2 was better than the first IMO.

This one start really fast (maybe too fast!) and ends the same way (but you get an epilogue pointing on a "maybe" third movie).

The cast is great for this kind of movie and The Rock is funny (similar to Rundown). Visual effect is what sell this movie. It's beautiful! The effects in the first movie were terrible, but this one is well made!

I'll buy it on release day, and probably blind-buy John Carter too!

Journey 2 looks awful IMO. Really zero interest in seeing that one.

John Carter was pretty disappointing for me personally. Worth a rent but I wouldn't buy it.

Safe House looks good but I haven't seen it. Looking forward to a rental.

Safe House is a must. If you want something really campy and really light hearted, go for Journey 2. The 3D will be better in this as well as it was shot natively. It's something you can watch when you're really really tired.

IMO, this thread isn't stupid as I have these dilemmas all the time .
