Question Question about Blu-ray Reissue packs for Movies

Does a BD reissue pack for any movie that gets reissued on BD usually have more special features than the initial BD pack released for it ?

No. Most times it's the exact same disc as the previous release

Reissue is kind of an umbrella term for remaster and repack

When a film is repacked (like the new mission impossible sets) they take all of the original discs and just replace the old artwork with the newly printed art, re-shrink wrap it and send them back out

I picked up M:I and M:I:II recently and they had some of the original shrink wrap still left under the new shrink wrap

If the studio is willing to spend the money to remaster a title to improve upon the initial release, they will sometimes include new extras, but not always (for example, the remastered Fifth Element and silent remaster of The Fugitive don't have any new extras)

What i highlighted from your post is what i'd like to know. I'd like to know if they will include the rest of Pirates 4's Deleted scenes in its upcoming BD reissue pack, that were not included with the Deleted scenes that were in its 5 Disc and 15 Disc BD packs. Here's a link to the blu-ray.com webpage for the BD reissue pack of Pirates 4 that i was asking about.
