Default DVDActive.com - Inaccurate Information

http://www.dvdactive.com/reviews/tec...vd-player.html

I wonder if this guy even bothered to do a little of research. It's quite amazing what they write without citing the sources and where they got the information from.

Not only to mention that the readers don't seem to understand what's going on or that they are being fed a load of inaccurate facts and bad information

Not only to mention this...

For months, perhaps even well over a year now, I've been following the whole debate surrounding HD DVD and Blu-Ray. I've seen it all; the pro's, the con's and just the general banter and hyperbole marketing from both sides. I've been to numerous stores to test each player side-by-side, and I've run a fine tooth-comb through their tech-specs and growing catalogue of titles – pretty much the works.
He claimed to have followed the debate for over a year. I've been following this from the very beginning, I even signed the petition for the studios to push the HD-DVD format when it was first set up at The Digital Bits years ago before they started moving forward with the HD optical disk formats.

I just don't buy this guy's claims. Too fishy.

the "virtual undercurrents" part is a load of crap. The real currents show that BR is winning, and keeps gaining momentum. Hell, after Feb. 27 the next HD-DVD release is March 27, while BR has the 13th and 20th in addition to the 27th, with Casino Royale in there. Also, they've got the European launch of the PS3, which will put a BR player in the hands of that population, basically doing for BR in Europe what it has done for it in America.

The PlayStation 3 has become something of a failure, selling a mere fraction of Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 console
Well it is true if you realize any ratio can be expressed in a fraction.
