The GOD OF WAR OMEGA EDITION boasts a numbered bronze statue of Kratos as well as God of War Collection, God of War Origins Collection and God of War III within a collectible Steelbook. Tentative release date is November 2012 in Latin America. Details can be found here.

Similar, yeah, but the U.S. CE is for Ascension where as this one includes the 5 games before Ascension within the Steelbook. Technically, if you bought both CEs, you'd have the ENTIRE God of War series within two Steelbooks.

I'm in for the CE as well. I own both GoW collections plus the GoW 3 CE. I just hope this new CE is actually rare. I paid $100 for the last CE and it flopped, I saw it sold for $30 at one point.

I still kind of kick myself around from time to time fo rnow buying the GoW III CE. I'm a HUGE fan of the series, and I'm not sure why I didn't get it, to be honest.

I'm not going to make that mistake again, though

Same here except at the time of it's release I couldn't afford the CE. This won't be the case this time around. I won't miss out on this release

EDIT: I spoke too soon, they sold out of pre-orders already.

Are you talking about the Ascension Collector's Edition? It doesn't seem like it's sold out at Amazon.

This Omega Edition seems like it's going to be sold in Europe now, too (according to PlayStation Lifestyle).

thx yeah I was able to pre-order it from my local GameStop. I had posted that cuz the idiot on the phone didn't know what he was talking about and told me they sold out. So I went by there anyway and a manager said yeah you can still pre-order it.
