Just watched HEROS. Saw Nicky playing Heavenly Sword being played and it looks friggin sweet!

Well, as God of War I and II was on PS2, there's a chance a future sequel will find its way to PS3.

Though I do agree, Heavenly Sword does look great.

Downloaded the video last night. Awesome motion capture detail and great looking game so far.

I wish we could get some confirmation as to when they expect this game to come out. The latest news that I heard, is that its been delayed once again and to expect it before christmas '07. Im all for them making sure its as awesome as possible and not releasing it half asses, but on the other hand I want this game so bad.....

PS3 owners will be getting a couple of awesome games in the same genre:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Summer 2007)
devil may cry 4 (fall 2007)
Heavenly Sword (?2007)
conan (early 2008)

And while its not a ps3 game....god2 will be bought by every ps3 owner as well.

Not to be the negative guy in the group but give me a good reason why we can't have this title alot sooner than holiday season. We've all seen actual gameplay footage since at least e3 05 and it looked amazing then.As we all know, summer time is a major drought period for game titles and releasing HS lets say in july would be a nice treat to hold us over until the FQ.I mean, we all know there's gonna be a whole hot bars worth of new title to choose from starting in Nov so why not give it to us then. All of the last minuite polishing on it will be done by july ,so why should we (the hardcore gamers,not just casual shoppers who knew nothing about the game's exsisance until they saw a comercial for it a month before christmas)have to wait! Comments please.

it's true for hardcore gamers it sucks to wait, because we dig around on the internet every day for the latest info and updates on the titles we want to buy and we know what's good and what might suck. However, this is a potential AAA title, given all the delays on other games for PS3, Sony needs to play smart and release them to face tough competition. Xbox360 has Halo3 and few other good ones coming out for the holiday season, Sony needs to have AAA titles to go against them, as holiday purchase usually involve games + consoles purchase (which Sony needs to close the gap on).

To Summer we have Lair to look forward to, just hang tight dude.

The The biggest ,badest wepon the 360 has in it's arsenal coming down the pipe is Halo 3. Take that away and what do they have. I' mean really? Sony is the the unstoppable, unmistakable jugernaut of all three current consoles.
So I don't think they should be at all woorried about the holiday season this year. When you look at everything else thev'e got planned for Q4 They'll be sittin' pretty come years endwhen you consider titles like MGS 4, killzone 2, The getaway 3,Grand Turismo HD, army of two and Eight days I just dont see why we can't have it in July.

That's how Sony likes it...:P Don't forget Final Fantasy 13 coming....It's the game you bought a PS3 for. (sarcasm)
