Default Blu-Ray RWs?

i was curious how the BD would server as harddrives if they can' t be rewritten. this is all i could come up with, BDRWs, but i hope thats not the case, i can't even get Sony CDRWs to work with my Vaio even though its 'compatible', jut wondering if anyone had any info on the harddrive capabilities of BD, sorry if this has been posted somewhere.

thanks, but i remember correctly regular DVDRWs can only be rewritten like 1000 times, thats alot but it wont be enough for a primary harddrive, was it ever said how many times the Blu-Rays can be rewritten?

how would you use it as a hard drive?
There are far better solutions for that
Anyway I don't remember the exact number but blu ray can be rewritten enough times. Should be good for tv recording
