E.T. Steelbook in Canada maybe?

I was looking at the latest issue of the Canadian publication "Hollywood @ Home" (published by Canadian distributer E one Entertainment I think) yesterday and there was a article on both the Bond 50 set and E.T.. Included in the article was a pic of both. The pic of E.T. was clearly of a Steelbook edition. Maybe that means that Canada will get E.T. in a Steelbook when it's released??

Best to wait till official announcements are made but could either be a good indication or simply a mistake. Stuff like that is know to happen with most publications in the magazine sector.

While what TheJord said is true, he may not be aware of a nationwide release as it is not Future Shop exclusive.

Technically "Hollywood @ Home" isn't a public magazine like "Empire" or "Total Film". It's published by a major Canadian DVD/Blu-Ray distributer, not Rogers for example. Store owners are the only ones who can get it and look at it. It lets stores know exactly what's coming and when so's they can get their orders in before the deadline/cut off date and be assured they'll get their product in time for the "Street Date". It's a tool, not entertainment fluff.


P.S.
A local store owner is nice enough to let me look at his copy each and every time it is delivered along with the DVDs and Blu-Rays he had ordered. That's how come I got a look at it.
