EXODUS is a great film. Both from the standpoints of historic and entertainment value. A great cast: Paul Newman, Eva Marie Saint, Sal Mineo, Lee J. Cobb, Peter Lawford. Based on a best-selling book. Oscar winner (not for best picture, although it deserved it). Anyway, this title has been available on Blu-Ray in France since January of this year. I would have bought the import except for the lousy review - forced English subtitles. So, why isn't it out as a U.S. release? Does anybody here have any word on a domestic release? Thanks

Unfortunately I have no news to add except that I too am looking forward to a blu-ray release of Otto Preminger's Exodus. Filmed in Super Panavision 70mm and 6-Track Stereophonic sound this would look and sound fantastic on Blu-Ray. If it's being released in France there are good chances we will eventually see it released for the USA. No need to rush as we want the studio to restore it to it's very best.
