Even TV shows like Nikita season 2,Person of Interest season 1
and catalog titlese like Cellular,Spawn,Devils Advocate,Astronauts Wife,Frequency,A perfect Murder,Just Cause ect.. just to name a few all those will be available in the states but not released overseas by Warner UK What is going on ![]() ![]() |

Fox skips the UK all the time, even when they release in other EU territories.
I think it has a lot to do with the studios finally admitting that importing US discs into the EU is commonplace, and has become even moreso with region-free discs and compatible video standards. So instead of making covers, disc art, ratings submissions etc, for every country, they just master one (or two) disc(s) and watch it (them) spread all over via importing. |

It's also out profit maximisation. UK has some of the lowest BD prices in the world, whilst on these vanilla back catalogue from Warner customers wont pay the £10+ they want on release. To sell here they really need to be £7 or less especially when most of these are only a couple £ on DVD.
