It might be worth contacting blubastard to see if they'll do it - while I have not seen them sell anime I did get into it last year after watching Baka and Test (and since then have watched Jun Maeda/Key's masterful work along with some other shows) so there is definitely interest in it which they would be smart to look into. They accept PayPal so I think you can pay in Euros with that.

Reply From Blubastard good news for anime fans

Quote:
Hi,

Thank you for your message and that is an excellent question - we have not had any requests for anime titles so far and despite some of the staff being fans of anime (personally I'm a fan of Hetalia) we have not yet needed to add this genre to our site.

However after speaking to the rest of the staff we have decided to follow your recommendation and from tomorrow will begin the immediate stocking of anime titles including adding this genre as a category on our website - we will shortly be talking to our suppliers to arrange the stocking of Funimation titles including Dragon Ball Z Kai as well as those from other companies.

I hope this helps and should you have any further questions or title requests (we will begin stocking anime titles from tomorrow so if there any specific titles you are interested in please feel free to let us know) we would be more than happy to assist.

Amazon.com and Amazon UK marketplace sellers have always been great to me, so no reason why they'd be any different to anyone else.

Tbf, the last two DBZ Kai Blu-rays I bought them via Amazon UK marketplace sellers, they both came in mint condition brand new sealed. The music sucks, tho (because it's too repetitive).

Yes, I just noticed their titles! I guess I should look through the reviews on this site more thoroughly to decide what shows I should invest in.

DBZ Kai BD Parts 1-4 from Amazon.com
DBZ Kai BD Parts 5-6 from Amazon.com
DBZ Kai BD Part 7 from Amazon.uk (Marketplace seller: perfect_entertainment)
DBZ Kai BD Part 8 from Amazon.uk (Marketplace seller: all_your_music)

But since you're gonna go with the DBZ Kai Season BDs, take a look here:

Season One - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Ball-...0413456&sr=8-1

Season Two - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Ball-...0413466&sr=8-1

all_your_music is selling both seasons each for £24.98 each plus £1.26 shipping so it is a sort of cheap price for what you're getting, imo.

Don't you risk customs though since they ship from the US (and along with that an £8 Royal Mail handling fee)? The aforementioned blubastard sell seasons 1-3 for £32.99 each and are UK based so those problems shouldn't exist (plus you'll receive them faster and since the OP wants to pay in Euros that option would be available I expect). I would also suggest MovieTyme but they're more expensive (£36.99 each).

Well, FYI, I've never had to worry about customs or anything whether I bought it from Amazon themselves or a marketplace seller.

This applies to all items from US to Europe that I've paid for (Dragon Box Z, DBZ Kai BDs, Yu Yu Hakuso BDs, The Lion King BD, etc).

That's definitely good then (and I have bought from Amazon marketplace sellers in the past but stopped because one seller sent me a used Blu-Ray, another sent me a Canadian disc, and I got stung by customs with a third - in the case of Amazon I definitely purchase on Black Friday but am careful with how much I spend although it's my own stupidity for having once placed a large order with Amazon gift vouchers that customs would notice - I was charged approximately £70 in fees). That's why I now rely on sites such as Axel (RIP - I'll never forget how surprised I was to receive My Bloody Valentine weeks before its release date), etc. because I know I won't be charged fees (and depending on where the site ships from I'll also have the benefit of not waiting long for my order to arrive).

Remember that with Amazon.com you can pre-pay customs fees if you choose expedited shipping, this will get you your order faster and if customs don't catch it you get the fees refunded.

You know, if you're fluent in Japanese, get the original Japanese Dragon Ball Kai BD releases instead of FUNimation's which have replacement music (Season One 2011 + Parts 1-4 do have the original Kai music, though).

If the replacement music was like in RB2 which was fantastic and plenty of variety, I'd be up for it, but nope, it's very limited and repetitive, to the point for I that I can't watch Kai with the replacement score any more except if it has the original music.

The replacement music in Kai is the original of DBZ but really way too small, they pretty much use only 5 to 10 tracks per episode.

Original DBZ Composer = Shunsuke Kikuchi
Faulconer Productions = US Replacement DBZ music
Shuki Levy = Canada/UK Replacement DBZ Music
