Default Dreamgirls re-release?

I believe Dreamgirls was just re-issued on Blu in the UK. Does anyone know whether Paramount/Dreamworks has pumped up the soundtrack to DTS-HD or Dolby-TrueHD this time? The original release, which I have, is Dolby Digital only.

Thanks for any help,

Matt

Take it no one has any information.

Will have to visit the (not so!) local HMV then and look at the specs on the box if they have it! Will def. double dip if the audio is enhanced!

Ho hum

I liked the movie but the little regular 'songs' in between the bigger numbers drove me nuts. I've seen my share of musicals, that's for sure and I only have about 4 favorites but even with better audio, those terribly written/produced side numbers would send me around the bend.

I just got my used copy in and only have disc 2 with the yellow PG rating logo
Could someone that has the UK set confirm if the 2 discs you have look like this, and in correct order;

EDIT: The company have organised a replacement, guess I'll just have to watch one of the other 4 blu-rays I got in the order lol

Got the 2018 digibook for Christmas, and honestly a bit disappointed about the quality of that packaging. Instead of the typical hardback book style digibook design, it's more of a digipak with a booklet glued inside.
If you can get it sub £10, it would probably be worth it for the extended cut (theatrical cut is included) and it comes with the old disc 2 of bonus features from older releases. But if you like/collect digibooks, just bear in mind this feels more like a digipak, quality wise.

As for the new disc, the US review mentions it wasn't remastered but has a AVC encode instead of MPEG-2 from the old releases. I'll maybe see about comparing the two releases.

Is the digibook the size of a normal Blu-Ray case, or is it oversized?

It's a little taller than a standard height blu, looks to be approx 17.8cm vs 17.1cm, but width and depth is about the same as a UK standard 14mm case.
A little taller, but nowhere near DVD height (approx 19cm).

See my posts above for my thoughts on the build quality of the digibook/digipak, but for under £4, it's a bargain.
If that listing sells through stock, there are others around £4.50 on ebay & Amazon Marketplace.

Does anyone know if the disc 2 is the same as the disc 2 from the Showstopper edition? I assume so, since that disc was re-released in the US as a target exclusive for this edition
