I was watching The Dark Knight. When I put on the new Transformers movie it worked right away.

That explains it. TDK defualts to the lossy DD track, whereas Transformers: DOTM defualts to the lossless TrueHD track .

So I'm catching up on Batman and watching Batman begins how do I switch it to True Hd? The audio option only lets me choose language in the sound options.

Press pop up menu and then go to audio and then select Dolby True HD.
