Default Dead Man same transfer? Echobridge vs. Alliance

Dead Man Echobridge:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Dead-Man-Blu-ray/25127/

Dead Man Alliance:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Dead-Man-Blu-ray/28523/

Do both releases use the same transfer, or did Alliance use its own transfer of the movie?

Any other differences besides the DVD that comes with the Alliance release?

I have the Echobridge release but am wondering if the Alliance release is a new and better transfer and should I upgrade?

I'm not sure, but it probably is, but Echo Bridge's transfer is a pretty good transfer anyways. According to their listings, they both have the same audio and no subtitles.

Anyone know if the Echobridge release uses the same transfer as the Alliance release?

It's the exact same transfer, Alliance just added a DVD copy, so you're correct.

As Arkadin mentioned, the Australian release is generally considered the best, but I haven't seen it. I have however viewed both the Alliance and Echo Bridge versions and they are virtually identical.

Hi, thanks for the information. It would be interesting to see a blu-ray comparison via blu-ray reader and a computer to see if the bitrate and other aspects are exactly the same. I don't doubt the transfer is the same but other specs such as bitrate, file size, etc may be different between both releases.

The Australian one is the best, agree. Not much difference though.
